We’re off to Neverland next spring in J.M. Barrie’s famous story of the “Peter Pan”, the boy who never grows up. Auditions will be in October. Olga Owen’s production requires a large cast, and so please come along and try for a part. We need plenty of people backstage too.

“Magic!” That’s how one fan described the Dulverton Players’ spring production, “Daisy Pulls It Off”, by Denise Deegan. The award-winning comedy, which pokes gentle fun at girls’ boarding school stories, played to packed houses. Jolly japes at Grangewood School, like Daisy’s cliff-top rescue of the beastly Sybil and Monica from the raging seas below, were greeted with a storm of applause. It’s fair to say that the cast enjoyed all the high jinks as much as the audience. Brilliant sound effects, with over a hundred and thirty cues, lighting, costumes and set, helped to make scholarship girl Daisy’s perilous journey through the 1920’s private school maze entirely convincing.
